This document explains how to install and troubleshoot VMware Server.
Terminology
- host - The physical computer VMware Server is installed upon is called the host computer.
- guest - The operating system running inside a virtual machine is called a guest operating system.
- You can have 4 virtual machines per processor.
- The amount of memory you can assign to each virtual machine is only limited by how much memory you have available.
